Edicola 518 is the rebel kiosk for all lovers of beautiful paper goods. Founded on the 1st June 2016 by us, the Emergenze artists, this unique, state of the art bookshop took form on the remains of a historical newsstand in the heart of Perugia. Our line-up comes with a unique choice of independent magazines, artists' books, anarchic papers, fanzines and self produced books branded Emergenze Publishing, our very own publishing house – an eclectic range that can’t be found anywhere else in Italy

Carla Andrade is a Spanish Visual Artist with a Degree in Audio-visual Studies and Philosophy. She is currently studying a M.A. in Artist’s Film & Moving Image at Goldsmiths University in London. She carried out Artist Residencies in Iceland, Sweden, Nepal, Chile, and Paris, among others. Her work was exhibited at the MAC in A Coruña, Colegio de España in Paris, Trinta Gallery in Santiago de Compostela, Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, MARCO of Vigo, 104 in Paris, etc; and at Film and Photography Festivals such as IFFR, Zinebi, Jihlava, Filmadrid, L’Alternativa, Curtocircuito, Porto/Post/Doc, PhotoEspaña or Mois de la Photo off.
